Ongar Badminton Club
Ongar Badminton Club in Essex was formed in 1951 and continues to grow from strength to strength, providing competitive, friendly and affordable weekly badminton for club standard players. No Beginners or Improvers.
Ongar Badminton Club meets every Tuesday evening from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm for club sessions. We also play competitive matches within the Brentwood & District League.
We welcome Advanced to Intermediate players. You should be comfortable rallying, have a reliable serve and be familiar with a range of shots such as smashes and drop shots. Also an understanding of doubles tactics and positioning during a rally. Most importantly, we’re a friendly club that enjoys good games and supports players in continuing to improve.
